Spiral dynamics and Yoga
Eastern tradition meets western innovation
In my Yoga classes on Lanzarote and in my workshops in Germany you will learn the most important Asanas of Hatha-Yoga. I combine these exercises with the knowledge of Dr. Christian Larsen’s Spiral Dynamics.
What does "Spiral Dynamics“ mean?
Spiral Dynamics is based on human anatomy of the motion apparatus, which means the coordination of bones, joints, tendons and muscles. As well as the entire human body the motion apparatus also contains spiral structures. Based on this insight Dr. Larsen developed a new concept of movement and therapy, which one can understand as a "manual“ for ones´ own body. It is a technique of correct, natural, spiral body posture and movement.

The system of spiral dynamics motion principle is everywhere in nature. I connect traditional eastern knowledge of motion with new, western knowledge of Spiral Dynamics in my Yoga classes The principle of spiral twisting in your body can be rediscovered through easy-to-follow Yoga positions. The muscular system can accomplish its original function and does not have to tense up. Thus you achieve a gate to the supporting strength of your inner energy column.

The aim is to transfer the Spiral Dynamics principle to daily life motion and body postures such as standing, walking and sitting (the “Joy-of-Life-Exercise” is a typical example).
As a result, right from the beginning you will learn to experience your body more consciously and to direct your awareness. You teach your inner observer and sense unfavourable motion and posture pattern. Just a small correction from outside and you experience how it feels to have an anatomic and energetic optimized posture. Afterwards you will always be able to recall this experience in daily life and to change into a correct body posture.
Right after your first Yoga class you will feel a releasing process. With more frequent practice your quality of life will improve.
